Bennetto Natural Foods co. began in 2010, when high school teacher Lucy Bennetto started experimenting with making her own chocolate at her kitchen bench.

She soon became passionate about the art of making chocolate and the implications of ethical sourcing.

In 2011, Lucy made her first trip to the Dominican Republic to understand first hand the ‘ins and outs’ of the sustainable cocoa supply chain.

Most of the chocolates are handmade by the Bennetto team in Christchurch, New Zealand along with a strong partnership with a Swiss manufacturer.

The entire Bennetto Natural Foods range is:
