When sisters Nat and Joyce discovered the opportunity to take over The Living Co. in 2021, it felt like a natural next step. Both had been on their own journeys toward conscious consumption and plastic-free living and the chance to turn their passion into a business was too good to pass up.

Nat, a research scientist, had a deep interest in the environmental and health impacts of everyday products, while Joyce, an interactive and graphic designer, had long been drawn to thoughtful design and ethical brands. Together, they saw an opportunity not just to run an eco-friendly store, but to build a trusted resource for people wanting to live more sustainably.
